SITE UPDATE - NEW FORUM SECTION ADDED -"CULT TV"

As part of our efforts to keep this site sparking, we've added a new section to the Forum headed "Cult Tv." Feel free to post comments and questions regarding your favorite USA network shows like "Up All Night", "Commander USA's Groovy Movies", "Cartoon Express", or national or local cult TV in general like Elvira, Bob Wilkins and other late-night horror hosts, "MST3K", etc. We look forward sharing our memories!

No, the site is not going dark --- although, as many of you may have noticed, the Forum has been more or less inaccessible (via the normal route) since August 10, 2009. It took a long time to trace the problem, but we now know it is not that "Tripod has a bug, or a glitch, or a gremlin... or just an error of some kind." Rather, it appears that a spammer corrupted the site's cgi script, the code that allows normal access to the message board.I am alas unschooled in the art of writing program code, and so am unable to fix the problem. If anyone has suggestions or can offer help with this issue, please contact me.

The one and only original Night Flight has retired. Long may he live!. Sherlock has inherited the reins for now and will do his best to keep this baby alive!

this to my attention.
It looks like Night Flight might be back on the
air. The message below was posted to the NightFlightX
Yahoo group on Tuesday, Oct 9, 2007 at 1:42 AM.
Night Flight Lives
I am very proud to announce that I have
acquired the Night Flight Library, copyrights
and trademarks. It was act of serendipity and
long term karmic metaphysical reattachment.
The beautiful aspect is that if it wasn't for
the Night Flight Yahoo group and devoted fans
like yourselves and in particular Alex
Moncado, it might never had happened as it
did.
So I thank all of you and hope and pray
that soon I will be able to bring to our
Night Flight family a renewal of the cutting
edge cultural essence that was Night Flight
and still is as strong as it ever was. I look
forward in the coming months to hold some
special NF sessions to learn how we should re
launch Night Flight both on line and on
TV.
It's never too late to Rock and Roll.
Never give up on your dreams or the ability
to reverse your disappointments in life. With

Ads, Ads And More Ads + Site Update

For the first few years there were no
advertisements anywhere on this site. Well, those
days are gone now with the demise of the last ad free
site. So to try and help our guests I suggest you grab
a "hosts" file from MVPS.org to help slow down
the ad problem. Unfortunately I was in the middle of
updating this site (yeah, I know I said I wasn't
going to but Scary Steve keeps posting these great
YouTube links). All the broken links are fixed, most
of the pages have YouTube links, added a couple more
pages and a new alternate site at Netfirms, blah,
blah, blah.

links and especially to zaraphud for uploading a ton
of Night Flight to YouTube, I decided to make a YouTube page. People without
Night Flight videos are now finally able to get their
fix.

It ain't fun no more

I started this site for fun. Well, after about 5
months it stopped being fun. So the website has not
been updated in several years. So today I decided I
should fix some of the broken links (not all of them,
just some of them). This will probably be the last
update for the foreseeable future.

This is getting monotonous. All the news seems to
be site updates. Well we also have some videos to
share. tripNhard, one of our moderators, has been
generous enough to digitize of bunch of Night Flight
video clips and offer them to everybody for

Big Site Update

stuff I've been working on. Some pages moved, a lot
were updated and a bunch were added. Still a long way

Major Site Update

We've just completed a major update to the web
site and added a whole bunch of new pages, added
images to the movies and shorts pages, rearranged a
bunch of stuff and added a "segments" section. We
still have a long way to go but we're getting closer
every day. We've also overloaded our 3 free providers
so we are adding a 4th but they are having problems
right now so that may take a while.

Split The Web Site

I guess you get what you pay for and since I
didn't pay anything I don't get much. Apparently our
little site here has overwhelmed our free host, so we
are splitting the site up and sharing it between 2
different free hosts. You, the viewer, should not
notice any difference. Everything should work the
same, but if for some reason you can't get to some of
the pages then that means one of the sites is
down.
We Moved

Our free provider, i6networks, has died so we have
moved the site to Freewebs. Our new address is www.freewebs.com/nightflight
but the preferred address is still www.night-flight.tk
Because of the poor timing some of the site is in mid
change. Please excuse the mess. We will clean things
up as soon as we get a chance.

Welcome To Night Flight

I guess this is the second Night Flight site on
the Internet and the only one dedicated exclusively
to Night Flight. The first is at Scourge
Productions. You would think there would be more
sites since the show was so well loved but that's not
the case at this time.
